Dieline and Artwork Update for Truvada® (Uganda) for Gilead Sciences
Specifications for the Uganda/Africa pharmaceutical market were updated, and the packaging and label artwork needed to be updated as well to reflect these changes. The changes included updated carton size, special security features (not shown), information updates, and barcode updates.
Following a change in market regulations, the packaging engineers developed the new specifications for the carton and label. As graphic designers, we needed to verify the information regarding market, language, serialization, packaging sites, manufacturing sites, and suppliers, among other vital information. Once this is done, we receive updated dielines (structural drawings) and place the artwork. Using redlines (edits needed to be made) we update the artwork and the necessary information in the title block. After preparing for print production, the files are submitted for review.
